On specifying the requirements that needed to be met we looked at what range of products we could conceivably be requested to wash. The specific requirements of PPS EM obviously topped this list – i.e. nestable plastic crates and plastic pallets. These products are standard and represent by far and away the largest portion of RTE that would require repeated washing. However we recognised that there was a significant market for contract washing of other plastic crates or containers.

Our wash line was therefore designed to wash the following:

Nestable plastic crates with bale arms.
Attached lid or tote boxes - we specified extra wide wash lanes to accommodate washing open lid boxes.
Collapsible plastic crates and boxes.
Standard plastic boxes.

Plastic pallets – again differing dimensions can be washed. The pallet washing line is a stand-alone unit.

After washing all products are wrapped in stretch film at our automated wrapping station and moved to the indoors despatch area. Wrapped equipment can be labelled according to each client’s specification.
