Introduction
PPS Equipment Management Ltd has established a first-rate reputation as a provider of services linked to Returnable Transit Equipment (RTE). We manage a large fleet of our own plastic food crates and plastic pallets which are rented to clients, where we use our own ENABLE asset tracking software to manage such equipment. We also use ENABLE to manage third party RTE fleets. A further arm of our business, PPS Direct sells new and used RTE.
PPS Wash was established primarily to service the growing requirements of PPS EM for its own fleet of plastic crates and plastic pallets. PPS EM services in the field of asset management, particularly in large volume and highly demanding applications has resulted in the Management of the business deciding to focus attention on providing more of our key services from within our own operational base.
The last few years have seen the business grow in size and reputation, and a decision was made to wherever possible or practical, lessen our reliance on outsourcing and third party services. With the establishment of PPS Wash we can now offer a fuller all-round reliable package of services to anyone using returnable transit packaging.
The Measham site was chosen for practicality – centrally located by the main motorway corridors we service clients from throughout the UK. Our site comprises 20,000 square feet of modern factory space as well as administrative offices and showroom. All vehicle types and sizes can be accommodated and both incoming and outgoing equipment (crates, pallets etc) are stored inside, minimising the risk of contamination. We have designated “Clean” and “Dirty” areas.
